Acer

This Taiwanese brand has participated in the history of computer science.
First of all it was born as Multitech, the company that created the Micro-Professor MPF-I, and also the Micro-Professor II and III which are Apple II compatible.
Change the name to Acer in 1987.

Also very interesting are the series of acquisitions made by Acer, I put only the most important ones:
- 1990 acquisition of Altos Computer
- 1997 acquisition of the notebook division from Texas Instruments
- 2007 acquisition of Gateway Inc.
- 2008 acquisition of Packard-Bell
- 2009 acquisition of 29.9% of Olidata
